Our Policies

Payments:

• In order to hold your dates, a $500 deposit is required. That reservation deposit applies toward the total rental fee.

• The remaining rental balance is due one week prior to pick up.

  • Payment accepted by credit, debit, or cash.

• All motorhomes require a $1,500 refundable security deposit (in addition to the total rental agreement amount) to be held on the customer’s credit card with an authorization hold, cash, or cashier’s check. No personal checks accepted.

• Security deposits will be refunded within seven business days.

  • Any damage will be deducted from the $1,500 security deposit.

  • Mileage overage charges will be deducted from the $1,500 security deposit.

  • Cleaning fees or tank fees will be deducted from the $1,500 security deposit.

Cancellation

• Cancellations more than 28 days prior to departure will be refunded in full.

• Cancellations within 28 days of departure will forfeit 50% of the reservation deposit.

• Cancellations within 14 days of departure will forfeit 100% of the reservation deposit.

• STL RV Rentals will not refund for unused days within your reservation period.

Requirements & Insurance

• Copy of driver's license and proof of insurance (must be 25 years old).

  • All renters are required to purchase supplemental insurance through MBA Insurance

  • Your personal insurance policy may also cover the motorhome rental. Please check with your agent for verification of RV rental coverage.

Cleaning Fee

• There are no cleaning or prep fees. The RV must be returned in the same condition as when it is picked up, preferably in better condition (think the Boy Scouts motto!).

  • If the RV is returned in an excessively dirty condition, STL RV Rentals reserves the right to apply cleaning fees ranging from $150 - $300.

Mileage/Generator Usage

• ST RV Rentals includes 150 miles of travel per day.

  • Any mileage in excess of 150 miles per day will be billed at .35 per mile.

• STL RV Rentals include four (4) hours of generator use per day, and bills $7 per hour in excess of that amount.

• All motorhomes will be provided with a full propane tank, and must be returned with a full propane tank.

• If returned with less than a full propane tank, a $50 fee plus the cost to refuel at market price will be deducted from the security deposit.

Pick Up / Drop Off

• STL RV Rentals is open Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday). 

• RVs can be picked up and dropped off during normal business hours (8am-5pm).

• Renters may leave their vehicle in our gated parking lot.

  • Note: STL RV Rentals is not responsible for any loss/theft/damage​ 

• Rentals must be returned by 10AM the morning following your reservation to avoid an additional daily charge.

  • For Example: A Friday through Sunday rental. Pick up Friday between 9AM - 6PM. Drop off Monday by 10AM.

  • Arrange all pick up and drop offs by appointment only.

Fuel

• All motorhomes will be provided with a full tank of fuel, and must be returned with a full tank of fuel.

  • If returned with less than a full tank, a $50 fee plus the cost to refuel at market price will be deducted from the security deposit

Gray/Black Tanks

• All motorhomes gray/black tanks will be empty upon pickup, and must be returned empty.

  •  $100 fee will be deducted from the security deposit if tanks are not empty

​

Smoking Policy

• NO Smoking.

  • If smoking occurs within the RV a $300 fee will be applied.

Towing

• Towing is strictly prohibited on all of STL RV Rentals fleet.

​

Pets

• Pets are prohibited within the rental unit at any time.
